Is it confidential?
Our sessions will be conducted in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s (BACP) and Counselling and Psychotherapy Outdoors' (CAPO) Ethical Frameworks for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. A core component is confidentiality
What do you need to wear?
You will need outdoor footwear and clothing appropriate to weather conditions; in other words waterproofs, scarf, hat & gloves when it's cold and wet, a sun hat or sunscreen for when it is warm & sunny
How long will you need?
At our first meeting we will decide how many sessions might be needed

My Job Is To Connect You To Nature - Nature Does The Healing Allowing You To. Change your Internal Landscape through your experience of the External Landscape
Who is it for?
N. A. is for everyone, it does not separate between people,
whether you are a woman or a man; young or old. Nor does it separate between
behaviours such as addiction or youth offending. I believe this is because we have
an innate relationship with nature that allows us to connect with ourselves on
a deeper level. providing us with vitamin 'N'
What are my Aims and Objectives?
My aim: Is to support you in developing a deeper understanding of how to use the natural world as part of your journey to get yourself back on track
My objective: Is to help you to integrate N. A. into your daily life by raising your awareness of your innate relationship with nature for your own personal guidance, with my support
Where does it take place?
N. A. can be employed anywhere in nature from the local woods to parks even in extreme wilderness
What Model is used?
N. A. employs an integrated approach which compliments main stream treatment programmes. It promotes behavioural, cognitive and affective change which synergistically works with other therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Techniques, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and 12-Steps and is used to deliver an end result that is GREATER than a single therapy used in isolation
Working with nature is a win-win situation
N. A. allows the natural consequences of nature to act as the primary healer, supported were needed by a combination of wilderness-living-skills, tracking, nature games, and alone time. Thus it becomes an integrated process of experiential learning and change, through integrating the experiences you encounter in nature a ‘Bridge’ is formed which provides you with an increased opportunity for further change
